Terms of Service
Launchpad by BuilderCult · Last updated October 10, 2026
These terms are the deal between you and BuilderCult ("we", "us"), which runs Launchpad. By creating an account or using Launchpad you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
1. What Launchpad is
Launchpad helps you find and test app ideas, build iPhone, Android and web apps with AI, make videos, carousels and posts about them, schedule those posts to social accounts you connect, and take payments inside the apps you build. Some features are in early access and may change or stop.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and able to make a binding agreement.
- Give us a real email address and keep your password (or Google account) safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including through API tokens and AI assistants you connect to it.
- One person per account. If you use Launchpad for a company, you confirm you may bind that company to these terms.
- Tell us at adi@buildercult.com if you think someone else is using your account.
3. Credits and plans
- Most actions that cost us money (an idea check, an app build, a video, a post) are priced in credits. The price shows on the button before you start. App builds are metered: the button shows an estimate and you are charged for what the build actually used, within the limits shown.
- New accounts get a one-time set of free credits. Paid plans add a monthly allowance that resets each month (at each renewal, or every 30 days on yearly billing) and does not roll over. Credit packs you buy do not expire while your account is open.
- Plans renew automatically each month (or year, where offered) until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
- Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred or sold, and are not a bank balance or e-money. We may change prices and plans with notice; a change never touches credits you already have.
- Daily limits protect everyone from runaway costs. Payments are taken by our payment processor; we never see your full card details.
- Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
4. What you own
- Your input (ideas, briefs, uploads, footage, brand assets) stays yours.
- The apps you build belong to you: the code, screens and assets generated for your project. You can export them and use them commercially, including after you leave Launchpad. Open-source parts and starter templates inside them keep their own licences.
- AI output (scripts, images, voices, videos, carousels) made for you is yours to use, to the extent the law allows anyone to own it. See the AI Disclosure: similar output can be generated for other people, and some places don't grant copyright in purely AI-made work.
- You give us a limited licence to host, process and display your content only to run Launchpad for you (for example, to build your app, render your video or post to your accounts). We don't use your private projects to advertise and we don't sell them.
- Launchpad itself (the software, the look templates, the design library, the example gallery, our brand) stays ours. Gallery examples show the screens of real apps for reference: you may build your own app in a similar layout, but not copy another company's name, logo, artwork or wording.
5. Acceptable use
Follow our Content Rules. In short, don't use Launchpad to break the law, harm people, deceive, spam, infringe someone else's rights, or attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service. Don't repost other creators' videos, voices, faces or posts as your own: the reaction and meme libraries are for transformation inside Launchpad, and real creators' faces are never placed on our characters. You are responsible for what you publish, for the apps you ship (including store review and your own users' data) and for following the rules of the platforms you post to.
6. Things you connect
When you connect a social account, an app store account, a database, a payments account or an AI assistant, you authorise us to act on it the way you ask (for example, to publish a post at the time you scheduled). Those services have their own terms and can change or stop their side; we are not responsible for them. You can disconnect at any time.
7. Payments in the apps you build
If you turn on payments in an app you built, you are the seller to your customers. You must set honest prices, deliver what you sell and handle your customers' refunds and taxes. Payouts are made by the payments provider under its own terms and identity checks.
8. Ending things
- You can delete your account at any time from Account. We then delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy; export anything you want to keep first.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or fails to pay, and tell you why unless the law or safety stops us. If we close Launchpad or your account without you being at fault, we will give you reasonable notice to export your apps and refund unused paid credits as described in the Refund Policy.
9. No guarantees
Launchpad is provided "as is". AI makes mistakes: an idea verdict is an estimate, not financial advice; a generated app can contain bugs; a store can reject it; a post can underperform. Check important output before you rely on it. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, revenue, data or opportunities), and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer where you live.
11. Changes and the law
We may update these terms. For material changes we will tell you by email or in the app before they apply; using Launchpad afterwards means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at New Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them, without taking away any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live. If a part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
