Content Rules
Launchpad by BuilderCult · Last updated October 10, 2026
These rules apply to everything you make, upload, publish or sell with Launchpad, and to the apps you build. Breaking them can mean removed content, a suspended feature or a closed account.
1. Not allowed
- Anything illegal, or that helps someone break the law.
- Sexual content involving minors, in any form. We report it.
- Sexually explicit content, and non-consensual intimate imagery of anyone.
- Harassment, threats, hate based on who people are, or content that encourages violence or self-harm.
- Deepfakes or impersonation: using a real person's face, voice or name without permission, or passing off synthetic media as real events.
- Scams, phishing, fake reviews, fake giveaways, misleading health or money claims, and apps that collect data or payments under false pretences.
- Malware, spyware, or apps built to break other services' rules or security.
- Spam: bulk or automated posting that breaks a platform's rules, fake engagement, or posting to accounts you don't control.
2. Other people's work
- Only upload footage, music, images, logos and fonts you own or have a licence to use.
- Don't repost creators' content. Don't download someone's video, post or voice and publish it as your own, with or without edits. Reaction formats must be your own commentary on your own app.
- Launchpad's reaction, meme and template libraries are licensed or made for use inside Launchpad's makers. Don't extract them to use elsewhere.
- Gallery references from real apps show layouts to learn from. Don't copy another company's name, logo, artwork or text into your app.
- If you think something on Launchpad infringes your rights, write to adi@buildercult.com with the details and we will act on valid notices.
3. The apps you build
- Follow the App Store, Google Play and web host rules for the app you ship.
- If your app collects personal data, publish a privacy policy and honour deletion requests.
- If your app sells something, describe it honestly, show the price and the renewal terms, and make cancelling easy.
4. Posting to social accounts
Follow each network's community rules and AI-labelling rules, disclose paid promotion, and only schedule posts to accounts you own or manage.
5. Reporting
Report content or an app that breaks these rules to adi@buildercult.com. We review reports and may remove content, pause features or close accounts, and we cooperate with lawful requests.
